Families Learning Summit 2016
This year’s Families Learning Summit will bring two-generation family engagement to life for hundreds of attendees on October 17-19, 2016, in Detroit, Mich. The National Center for Families Learning (NCFL) has hand-picked sessions and speakers covering everything from early literacy to adult education, and digital learning to community coalitions and family engagement research.
On Tuesday, October 18, the Cooney Center’s Dr. Michael H. Levine will lead a panel on Integrating Technology in Early Learning and Family-Strengthening Initiatives based on research conducted for Levine and New America’s Lisa Guernsey’s book, Tap, Click, Read. Panelists include Margaret Caspe, senior research analyst at Harvard FINE; Jason Quiara, program officer for the Joyce Foundation; and Emily Roden, co-Founder and executive director of ReadyRosie.
