Kid-Tested, Evidence-Approved: The Future of EdTech Design
Tuesday, April 16
3:50 – 4:30 pm PT
The current EdTech market is full of products that claim to make teaching, learning, and assessment easier for learners and educators. But what if, in addition to helping kids master important concepts more efficiently, digital products made learning truly empowering and engaging by drawing deeply from the science of learning and utilizing rigorous participatory R&D methods to ensure that children (and their grownups) had a role in designing the products made for them? We’ll discuss how and why evidence-based approaches to co-designing with children, educators, and investors can lead to kid-centered EdTech products that make a real difference.
