Envisioning the Future of Early Learning R&D Policy at NAEYC 2026

Early learning research and development (R&D) is essential to prepare children for an ever-changing world, but too often our youngest learners and their caregivers are left out of the larger education R&D conversation as it relates to federal, state, and local policy. Join an active learning session to (1) discuss and add your voice to recommendations for an early learning R&D blueprint to guide R&D policy and investments at the federal and state levels and (2) co-design a research agenda that is informed by your lived practitioner experience.
